HMS Trincomalee trust, in association with Hartlepool Historic Quay Catering, are delighted to present the 2010 menu for our renowned Christmas lunches held in the Captain’s Cabin on board the famous HMS Trincomalee at Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience.
Arrival - 12 noon for 12.30pm
- Hot rum toddy, or a non alcoholic alternative, served on arrival on the Gun Deck
Served at your table in the Captains’ Cabin:
- home made thick winter vegetable broth served with crusty bread

- succulent local roast turkey with the traditional trimmings
- roast parsnips and potatoes
- buttered carrots, green beans and sprouts

- Christmas pudding served with brandy sauce
or
chocolate fudge brownie cake served with fresh double cream
- fresh filter coffee and mince pies
After lunch, an optional self-guided tour of HMS Trincomalee – the oldest British warship afloat in the world – the last of Nelson’s frigates.
- For maximum enjoyment, we recommend you allow up to 3 hours for your visit
- Vegetarian and special diets catered for - with prior notice please!
- We have a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale to accompany your lunch
